Crab Legs & Eggs, Breakfast fit for a King!

There’s a culinary combination that I must share with you… and that’s crab legs and eggs! King Crab meat is some of the most prized species of crab in the world. The leg meat is known for its rich, sweet flavor and delicate, tender texture (almost similar to lobster!). So why not treat yourself with King Crabs for breakfast?!

Keeping it simple, Crab Legs and Eggs (scrambled, fried or poached)

King Crab Legs and Scrambled Eggs…Top soft scrambled eggs with cracked and picked King Crab Legs for a simply, yet delicious, breakfast. We love brushing a little melted, salted butter over warmed crab legs, just before serving, to highlight all those succulent flavors. Serve with toasted English muffins or toast to help shovel all those tasty morsels on to your fork.

King Crab Legs and Fried Eggs Runny yolks are perfect for cracked King Crab Leg dipping, adding a luscious, rich quality to your morning meal. Hot sauce, melted butter, herb or garlic-infused olive oils all make for fantastic finishing additions.

King Crab Legs and Poached Eggs  Just like the fried eggs, the runny yolks from the poached eggs are equally tasty. If you have time to whip up a hollandaise, this is an excellent pairing. Topping the crab legs and eggs in that savory, succulent sauce. Veggies are awesome with this combination too, we love asparagus, roasted tomatoes, and sautéed spinach.

Fancy King Crab Toasts

Tex-Mex Avocado Toast with Egg & King Crab Legs…This Tex-Mex twist on the avocado toast adds some zesty elements to your breakfast. Butter-toasted thick slices of sourdough or bolillos rolls and top with guacamole, scrambled eggs, King Crab meat, pickled red onions, fresh cilantro, and either smoky hot sauce or a mild pico de Gallo.

Mediterranean King Crab Legs & Egg Toast…Love this veggie, King Crab leg, and egg toast combo! Toast pita (drizzled with a little EVOO) and top with hummus, feta, fried eggs, tomatoes, cucumbers, red onions, and King Crab meat seasoned with a little fresh dill and lemon juice.

Smørrebrød-Style King Crab Legs & Egg Toasts…This Danish twist on breakfast is fully loaded with flavor! Spread toasted rye bread (or pumpernickel) with cream cheese and horseradish and top with capers, sliced cornichons, fresh dill, red onion, chopped hard boiled eggs, and King Crab meat.
