Don’t drink and drive this weekend — there’s a better way!

The Marietta Beer Bus is back this weekend.
Masks are required to ride.

On select Saturdays, you can hop on the Marietta Beer Bus and enjoy a FREE shuttle ride to 6 craft alcohol establishments. The beer bus dates will show up on our events calendar and our Free Things To Do lists.

Confirmed Saturdays for the 2022 Marietta Beer Bus are:

  • May 21
  • June 4
  • June 18
  • July 2
  • July 16
  • July 30
  • Aug 13
  • Aug 27
  • Sept 10
  • Sept 24
  • Oct 8
  • Oct 29
  • Nov 12
  • Nov 26
  • Dec 10

According to the Facebook page, the shuttle starts running at 3 p.m. and wraps up at 9 p.m. It runs in a continuous loop, arriving at each stop about every 30 minutes. If you want to do the entire loop with a stop at each venue, it will take you 3.5 to 4 hours.

You don’t need a ticket or a reservation. Just pop in to any of the participating establishments to get a free wristband — and then hop on the bus when it arrives.  You can hop off again and back on when and where you’d like.

The 2022 stops include:

  • Schoolhouse Brewing
  • Red Hare Brewing
  • Ironmonger Brewing
  • Still on the Square
  • Treehorn Cidery
  • Shezmu Cellars (beer, wine, and mead)
  • Atlanta Hard Cider & Distillery
  • The Viking Alchemist (meadery)

These establishments pay for the Beer Bus so you don’t have to!

It’s probably a good idea to use a rideshare service to get to your first stop. But if you park at one of the breweries, be smart about your decision to drive home — you can always get a ride and leave your car till the next day. The whole point is to NOT drink and drive.
