I received this product for free from Moms Meet (momsmeet.com) to use and post my honest opinion. Compensation for this post was provided and this post contains affiliate links. I’ve been dairy free for 11 years now and gluten free for about 7 years. During that time, I learned that there were certain foods I would just never be able to eat again because they’re very difficult to make dairy free and gluten free. One of those items is Havarti cheese. (Oh, how I loved Havarti cheese!) Another item was pudding. (We tried making boxed pudding once with a dairy free milk, and what a disaster. It was more like pudding soup.) However, I recently learned of an item on the market, WayFare pudding, that is free of the top 10 allergens. Moms Meet recently sent our family a few varities to try, and let me tell you, pudding is back on the eating rotation!

WayFare Pudding Review
Moms Meet shipped us three different flavors of pudding–butterscotch, vanilla, and chocolate.
The first pudding we tried (almost as soon as we opened the package) was butterscotch. Butterscotch used to be my favorite pudding flavor, and I’ve really missed it! Imagine my delight when I tasted this smooth, creamy pudding and tasted the familiar butterscotch flavor. My taste buds were singing with joy. The only difference I noticed from puddings made the traditional way is that this one had a little thicker texture. This is probably attributed to WayFare’s dairy free base, which is made of water, organic butter beans, and organic oats.
We also tried the vanilla and chocolate flavors. Hands down, my family’s favorite was the chocolate pudding. My daughter and I both really liked the vanilla pudding, but my husband and daughter thought it didn’t quite taste like vanilla. My son suggested it should have a stronger vanilla taste. He also mentioned that it would be nice if WayFare offered a variety pack with each of the flavors in one pack, which I thought was a great idea.
Before I had food intolerances, one of my favorite summertime desserts was chocolate pudding pie. I haven’t tried it, but I’m considering cooking up a gluten free pie shell, letting it cool, and then filling it with WayFare pudding. This sounds like a delicious summer treat, and even better if served with berries on top!
