Bluefin Tuna Poke Bowl
Our easy-to-make Tuna Poke Bowl got an upgrade when we ordered up a few pieces of delicious Bluefin Tuna! Simple ingredients with big, fresh, bold flavors pair perfectly with the Bluefin, which features a rich, buttery taste with a slightly sweet flavor. Bluefin Tuna Poke Bowl Poke bowls are one of my favorite things to order when I am craving all the flavors of sushi, but don’t necessarily want to go and order actual sushi rolls or nigiri. The Death of Print: The NYT
It is getting harder and harder to read print. Is this because we are so used to screens, or because they changed print? We were getting ice for the reception at Goodyear. It went well - a great show, well attended, and everyone had a good time. Sold some pottery and paintings, too!Anyway, they had one issue left of the New York Times Sunday Edition ($6!!) and Mark said, "Let's get it!" so we did. I figured if nothing else, we could use the newspaper to wrap fish, clean windows, or use in the pottery studio. We were not disappointed on...
Miss L’s Birthday and Baptism Day
Miss L's baptismal program was on January 13th. We celebrated with grandparents visiting and some of our closest friends from church. It was a wonderful day. Both Grandmas shared experiences and stories about baptism and the gift of the Holy Ghost. On Lili's birthday we went to a Science Museum and Planetarium. They had a lot of interesting exhibits to observe and also touch! We saw lizards, snakes, turtles, birds, crabs, and fish. They also showed a movie in the planetarium about sharks. Baby A found Nemo and Dory. He was so excited to see them. We went to the Chinese buffet again for Miss L's...

One of the more popular things to do on Taiwan’s North Coast is to visit Yehliu, a world-famous geological site, but I thought I’d introduce you to some other cool things to do in the Wanli 萬里 district, from coastal attractions like paragliding over a beach and eating super fresh seafood to exploring an abandoned UFO village. California’s progressive leaders ruin everything they touch
Too often progressive politicians implement bad economic policies for the sake of justice or equality or equity or whatever is the buzzword of the week, yet they simply end up hurting those they claim to help while advancing their own political careers. Here are three cases in point. When Democrats in the California Legislature passed a farmworker-overtime bill in 2016, they argued it was a matter of equality, that money wasn’t everything. Yet today, that undoubtedly comes as little comfort to the farmworkers who are now making less money thanks to these progressive economics. Why shouldn’t farmworkers be paid overtime...
